Oral Cavity
Accessing the Oral Cavity
Use scissors to cut through the corner of the mouth and along the angle of the jaw. Cut until the entire tongue is exposed. After the cut has been made, break the jaw by pulling the head and jaw in opposite directions. When the jaw has been broken the oral cavity should stay open with out needing to be held.

Teeth
Canine- are used to tear meat and are located in the front of the mouth on either side
Incisors- Aid in cutting, and are the most anterior of all the teeth To find teeth, simply open the mouth and they should be visible along the gum line on the top and bottom of the mouth. Molars eventually develop in the back of the mouth, but have not yet erupted and thus are not visible. |
